Negotiation and cronos
Aiming to depict my personal experience in coping with ‘symptomatic experience’, grief, and the link between historical mythology and modern reality. Each photo is a specific circumstance and inner dialogue communicated symbolically, the scythe being the focus of the project in order to communicate the relevance and correlation of its symbolic definition to my personal encounters with it [its mythological symbolism]. Ultimately, as a solution or contract agreement, a relationship has been formed with what is socially recognized as “The Grim Reaper”. An exchange: for its lack of interference and respect, there is my peace and evolution.

To Bleach an Ethos
To Bleach an Ethos, is about the attempt to iconify and preserve various moments in time. Simultaneously, To Bleach an Ethos examines themes of violence, mythology, and family. Behind each photo is an intersection of the visual, spiritual, and philosophical ideas that connect to my personal life, photographing people, self portraits, animals, florals, and landscapes. In all subjects photographed, I find perspectives that are vital to inform my character as I reconstruct my beliefs and identity.
